ARID1A, the AT-rich binding domain 1A gene, which is an important member of the SWI/SNF chromatin remodelling complex family, is mainly derived from the position on chromosome 1p36.11.The mechanism of action of ARID1A includes non-specific binding to DNA and regulation of cellular life activities such as the cell cycle, cell proliferation, DNA damage repair, etc.ARID1A acts as a tumour suppressor, mutated or absent in a variety of tumours, has an important impact on tumour development, and its loss of function may lead to enhanced proliferation and invasiveness of tumour cells.
