FGF18

FGF18, full name fibroblast growth factor 18. It is a member of the FGF family, regulating bone development, cartilage repair, tissue regeneration and cell proliferation. Abnormal FGF18 overexpression relates to osteoarthritis and cancers, promoting tumor proliferation and angiogenesis. FGF18-targeted inhibitors are under preclinical research for orthopedic and anti-tumor therapy.
