IL1RL1

IL1RL1, or interleukin-1 receptor-like 1, is a member of the Toll-like/interleukin-1 receptor family. Its structure comprises an extracellular ligand-binding domain, a transmembrane domain, and an intracellular signaling domain. IL1RL1 primarily participates in the IL-33-mediated signaling pathway, triggering intracellular signaling by binding to IL-33, such as the activation of NF-κB and MAPK pathways, thereby playing a crucial role in immune regulation and inflammatory responses. The activation of IL1RL1 can promote the release of inflammatory mediators and enhance Th2-type immune responses, functions that are significant in various diseases such as asthma and allergic dermatitis. Therefore, IL1RL1 represents a potential therapeutic target for disease treatment.
