TNFRSF17

TNFRSF17, also known as B-cell maturation antigen (BCMA), is a transmembrane protein belonging to the tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily. It is primarily expressed on mature B lymphocytes and plasma cells. BCMA binds to its ligands, APRIL and BAFF, promoting B-cell survival and differentiation. It is involved in the NF-κB and PI3K/AKT signaling pathways.
Dysregulation of BCMA is associated with multiple myeloma and certain autoimmune diseases. Due to its specific expression in plasma cells, BCMA has become an attractive target for drug development. Many novel therapies, such as bispecific antibodies and chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapies, are in various stages of clinical trials, showing promising results in treating multiple myeloma.

Activity
Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Immobilized BCMA at 2 μg/ml can bind Anti-BCMA recombinant antibody, the EC₅₀ of human BCMA protein is 1.912-2.488 ng/ml.

Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Immobilized TNFSF13B (CSB-MP897523HU1) at 10 μg/ml can bind human BCMA, the EC₅₀ of human BCMA protein is 221.3-298.6 ng/ml.

Human TNFSF13B protein Fc tag (CSB-MP897523HU1) captured on COOH chip can bind Human BCMA protein Fc tag (CSB-MP023974HU1) with an affinity constant of 39 nM as detected by LSPR Assay.

Activity
Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Immobilized human BCMA at 5 μg/ml can bind Biotinylated human TNFSF13B (CSB-MP897523HU1-B), the EC₅₀ is 0.1752-0.3657 ng/ml.
