Description
R-spondin-1 is a critical potentiator of Wnt/β-catenin signaling that drives stem cell self-renewal and tissue homeostasis, making validated receptor-binding activity essential for meaningful experimental results. This recombinant human RSPO1 (aa 31–263) demonstrates confirmed binding to its cognate receptor LGR5 with an EC₅₀ of 124.0–174.1 ng/mL in functional ELISA, providing a suitable basis for receptor-ligand binding and competition assays, as well as serving as a reliable ELISA standard for antibody characterization studies. Mammalian cell expression preserves native glycosylation patterns important for proper folding and receptor engagement, supporting use in intestinal organoid culture, stem cell self-renewal assays, and Wnt pathway-dependent proliferation studies. The C-terminal 10×His-Avi tag facilitates oriented immobilization for SPR-based kinetic measurements, while purity exceeding 95% and endotoxin levels below 1.0 EU/μg satisfy the criteria typically required for cell-based differentiation assays and in vivo regenerative biology models.
