Description
Semaphorin-4D plays a pivotal role in immune cell regulation, influencing T cell activation, B cell responses, and dendritic cell migration through interactions with its receptors Plexin-B1 and CD72. This recombinant mouse Sema4D (aa 24–733) is produced in mammalian cells to preserve native-like post-translational modifications and carries a C-terminal mFc tag that facilitates detection and purification in binding assays. Functional ELISA validation demonstrates robust interaction with immobilized Pepinemab, yielding an EC50 of 4.878–7.446 ng/ml, which supports use in antibody characterization studies, receptor-ligand binding assays, and as a reliable positive control in immunological screening platforms. Purity exceeding 95% by SDS-PAGE combined with endotoxin levels below 1.0 EU/μg satisfies the criteria typical for functional cell-based assays investigating Sema4D-mediated immune signaling and for in vitro studies requiring minimal innate immune interference.
