Antitoxin component of a type II toxin-antitoxin (TA) system. Upon expression in M.smegmatis neutralizes the effect of toxin RelE.; Induces its own promoter, in combination with RelE represses its own promoter. Binds DNA in complex with toxin RelE but not alone.
