Description

CD47 functions as a critical "don't eat me" signal through its interaction with SIRPα, making it a high-value immune checkpoint target in immuno-oncology research. This recombinant human CD47 encompasses the extracellular IgV-like domain (aa 19–139), expressed in mammalian cells to preserve native glycosylation and disulfide-mediated folding essential for proper receptor-ligand engagement. BLI validation demonstrates that the protein binds an anti-human CD47 mAb-Fc with a KD of 0.22 nM, confirming conformational integrity suitable for therapeutic antibody epitope mapping, competitive blocking antibody screening, and affinity characterization by SPR or BLI. With purity exceeding 95% by SDS-PAGE and endotoxin levels below 1.0 EU/μg, this C-terminal His-tagged construct meets the quality thresholds commonly required for cell-based immune checkpoint assays, small-molecule inhibitor screening, and SIRPα–CD47 interaction studies by ELISA or biosensor platforms.
