Description
CD47's role as a "don't eat me" signal in tumor immune evasion makes it a critical target in immuno-oncology research, and this recombinant human CD47 (aa 19–139, C-terminal hFc tag) provides validated binding activity to support that work. Functional ELISA demonstrates dose-dependent interaction with immobilized SIRPα, yielding an EC50 of 65.91–82.42 ng/ml, while LSPR assay confirms a KD of 19.1 nM for the CD47–SIRPα interaction—data that supports use in checkpoint binding assays, blocking antibody screening, and SPR-based affinity characterization. Mammalian cell expression ensures native-like glycosylation relevant to receptor recognition, and endotoxin levels below 1.0 EU/μg combined with greater than 90% purity satisfy the criteria typical for functional cell-based phagocytosis assays and in vivo tumor model studies exploring CD47-targeted therapeutic strategies.
