Description

CD147, also known as basigin or EMMPRIN (extracellular matrix metalloproteinase inducer), is a multifunctional transmembrane glycoprotein that plays pivotal roles in tumor invasion, inflammation, and metabolic regulation. As a potent inducer of matrix metalloproteinases, CD147 facilitates extracellular matrix remodeling and has emerged as a significant marker in cancer progression research. Its involvement in lactate transport, viral entry mechanisms, and immune cell activation makes it a compelling target across oncology, infectious disease, and immunology studies.

This recombinant monoclonal antibody (clone 11F3) offers the reproducibility that demanding research requires. Generated against recombinant human CD147 protein and produced through recombinant technology, it delivers sequence-defined consistency between lots, eliminating the variability that can compromise longitudinal studies or multi-site collaborations.

Validation across multiple platforms demonstrates genuine experimental flexibility.
